Warranties and modifications is a mine field, even one dealer to the next you sometimes can't get the same answer. This dealer could discover the modifications and refuse warranty, plus drop a dime on you with the MoCo which will get your warranty flagged. Changing to a PCV is not a guarantee for more power, just more money spent on your paper chase. A poor tuning shop wont get you results no matter what they use. And a good tuner who can tune with SEPST, would have no problem with TTS. You could be a couple thousand miles from home when something breaks sending you to a dealer other than your dealer. And, proper tuning with the TTS or SEPST would give you similar results. The rub comes is if you are one who travels a great deal. Then there is the twist of your dealer may be ok with it and even do the modifications. Use MasterTune-HD to select and install the closest starting calibration map from the MasterTune files. There are those who have a dealer that turns a blind eye to modifications and then those who have a dealer which will drop a dime on you if you make modifications. Choose menu item: FileSave or Restore Factory Calibration. The plain unvarnished truth is yes it can impact your warranty. ![]()
